A survey has found that the Olympics has improved childrenֳ attitude to sport. Over half of primary school children have been inspired by London 2012.
The study of 700 kids aged 8 to 12 found that 52% of boys and 55% of girls said the Olympics had made them feel like doing more sports. The desire of the Olympic organisers was to өnspire a generationӠand the early signs seem to show that they have achieved this aim.
Olympimania has taken hold of the country. The nation is going nuts with each new British success on the rowing lake, in the velodrome and on the track. After the wall to wall coverage is over with a bit of luck we will get off our couches, turn the TV off and participate.
Exercise is good. We all know that to get fit and to stay fit we have to get our sack of bones moving. If we donִ move our bodies on a regular basis we risk obesity, diabetes and heart problems.

When you have worked hard all day the last thing you want to do is exercise. The vision of you jogging, swimming or going to the gym gets replaced by one of you sitting in a chair with a nice cup of tea.
As the dust begins to settle I can finally take a step back and appreciate the accomplishments of Team Emotional and their completion of the 2011 Ben Nevis Triathlon.
As the saying goes Քime waits for no manՠor in our case waits for no Team! Here we are only days away from our flagship event – The Big Ben Nevis Triathlon – and members are already proposing a truly Emotional day, and I havenִ even mentioned the heavy rain forecast outlined by the Met Office.
