• The PhysioRoom.com Fitness Challenge is Coming Soon!

In a bid to get fitter in 2013 three employees from PhysioRoom.com will be taking part in a very public competition Рthe PhysioRoom.com Fitness Challenge.

The ӣhallengeӠwas originally suggested by Dave last December who having recently quit smoking found he had a few extra, unwanted lbs! Determined to not lose the weight but work to build his physique into something fitter, he decided to ask his colleagues to get into shape with him and go public with their stories.

Dave Anderson, Tracey Greenwood and Chris Black will each be given their own Twitter account as a platform to share their journey and encourage others to take up their own challenges to get healthier this year.

Explaining his idea for the challenge, Dave said: Ӂt this time of year many people have made New Yearֳ Resolutions to take up a cleaner lifestyle, be it to get fit, lose weight or for general wellbeing. This challenge aims to unite people who are striving to do better in 2013 and help each other stay incentivised and share a common goal.Ԝn
The three participants each have their own reasons for taking on the PhysioRoom.com Fitness Challenge and their own individual targets set by personal trainer Marc Fretwell of Fitwell Training.

For Dave it is to increase his muscle and strength, for Tracey to get back into shape after losing weight but then falling back into old habits, and for Chris to improve general fitness and raise some cash for charity in the process. Their stats and aims are to be displayed on the PhysioRoom.com blog.

The PhysioRoom.com Fitness Challenge starts 10am on January 14th when the three participantֳ Twitter accounts will be activated. They will have 3 months (until April 15th at 10am) to get as many followers as possible who will hopefully join them with their own fitness challenges. At the end of the competition, the person with the most followers will be announced the winner!

Participants will have free reign of their Twitter accounts to get followers by any means possible! They have been strongly urged to be honest about their journey and highlight both times of hardship and their achievements along the way.

As well as sharing information on their Twitter accounts, there will also be a monthly update about the challengersՠprogress right here on the PhysioRoom.com blog.

To take up the PhysioRoom.com Fitness Challenge yourself and to give our participants some encouragement follow them on Twitter from January 14th!
