What is the Aircast A2 Wrist Brace With Thumb Spica?

It is a lightweight and adaptable brace for the wrist and thumb.

It caters for a range of injuries by incorporating removable stabilisers, which you can add or remove depending on the type of support you require.

This adjustability adds to the overall comfort of the brace, which is made from a fully-washable Breath-O-Prene fabric to help keep the wrist dry and ventilated.

When can I use it?

  • Designed to be worn all day while undertaking typical everyday activities
  • Use for wrist injuries such as a broken or sprained wrist, or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Use for thumb injuries such as a broken or sprained thumb (Skier's Thumb), or deQuervain's syndrome

Which size do I need?

Measure around wrist at widest point. If you are between sizes, please choose the larger size.

  • Small 12.7-16.5cm (5-6.5'')
  • Medium 15.9-19.7cm (6.25-7.75'')
  • Large 19-22.9cm (7.5-9'')

How does it work?

The dual stabilisers - one which fits onto the inside of your wrist and one which fits onto the outside - help keep the wrist secure and supported. The thumb spica, meanwhile, provides that extra stability to the thumb. This support is vital when recovering from a broken bone, as keeping the area immobile will speed up the healing process.

If you no longer need the wrist or the thumb to be as secure, the stabilisers can be removed, ensuring the Aircast A2 Wrist Brace With Thumb Spica is customisable for your needs.
