This new model has been specifically designed utilising a seamless circular knit to provide compressive support. The breathable compressive four-way stretch of the material mimics the support and action planes of key ligaments and tendons to reinforce them, targeting the areas most in need of this support. The compressive element of the material also stimulates blood flow, which can help prevent the build-up of lactic acid both during and following activity, reducing the prospect of cramp and stiffness whilst also being a valuable recovery and rehabilitation tool to injury.
Included in this Advanced model are the medial and lateral flexible steel springs, which promote stability without a loss of movement, plus a cross-over strap system to provide additional all-round stability and support. The tailored design and open patella design also help prevent punching behind the knee.
