First experience with this product was in hospital during my knee replacement. While there it did ease the pain and reduce swelling. When I came home the wife purchased this item. We kept refreshing the water to keep it cold and used the cuff a lot especially at night. Can not express how much it helped reduce the pain and the swelling. Physio was amazed my flexibility in the knee improved so quickly and so much in just 4 weeks post op. Credit the cuff for this recovery.

They were originally out of stock in my size but i was informed that they were due some more in within a few days. A few days later i checked back and found it was available for delivery. I placed the order on a Friday afternoon & it was here by Monday afternoon with a free of charge delivery.
A fantastic product that i have used before in the past and now plan on using throughout my ACL reconstruction rehab and is so much better than using frozen vegatables or ice packs. Would recommend to anyone when buying one.
I shopped around for a while online and found this website the cheapest by at least £30-40 in all other places. Great buy and extremely pleased with the prompt delivery.

I used frozen peas as a ice therapy for 4 months after having both cartilages, lunge groove and acl surgery and only saw gradual improvement during this time. After 2 weeks use of the cryo cuff I was back in regular training without the need for painkillers.
I do find that best results come from cycling the water every 30 minutes, which reduces the time between restocking the ice down to about 4-5 hours

If you're contemplating knee surgery of any kind, one of these is essential! I bought one for my knee replacement last year and couldn't have done without it. It's the perfect enhancement for pain meds and actually helps you manage with less! I had mine on for hours every day - it was bliss.
I also recommend them to all my patients and anyone else I come into contact with that's having a knee replacement. You don't use it for long (3-6 weeks) but it's worth every penny!

This is a great bit of Kit. Had my ACL reconstructed 5 weeks ago. Started off using peas but then bought myself one of these and the difference is amazing. The compression added to to the ice treatment really speeds up my recovery. Some reviews talk about this lasting all day. I disagree, you probably get about 4 hours use before you need to change the ice. Talk of it lasting all day is, I feel, not accurate. Apart from that though this is a really good aid to recovery, get one now !

I really wish I had bought one of these straight after my op-I fill it with ice and water (I buy bags of ice from my local newsagent) and use it every couple of hours and it is SOO effective. The cold with the pressure of the wrap has really brought my swelling down, I'm so pleased with it. I fill it once first thing in the morning and it often still has ice in it when I go to bed. I have no idea how but it is amazing and a million times better than using those ice pack things. I resisted buying one of these to start with because of the price but after struggling with stupid ice packs for so long I just went for it. Wish I'd got one from the beginning! If you're post op and needing to bring the swelling down you MUST get one of these!

I had initially purchased the 'coldone' for swelling reduction after my total knee replacement which worked well. However, its important to do as much exercise as poss for best recovery and I found I needed to ice my knee before and after exercising for the maximum comfort. This was impossible with just one ice pack and too difficult for me to keep making trips to the freezer with bags of ice/peas. The cryocuff fits superbly comfortably over the knee - with really soft straps to attach. The chiller is a neat 'icebox' that you fill with ice and water and then use to fill the knee cuff through a vacuum system. Once the cuff is filled you can detach the tube easily and be able to move freely. After using you attach the tube again and the water drains back into the chiller. After mixing with the remaining ice it is ready to use again any time. Well worth the investment!

Having used ice packs for 4 weeks post surgery, I bought the Cryo Cuff and have been very pleased with the purchase.
I snapped my ACL and tore my MCL in a skiing accident, and while ice packs helped cool the swelling, they did little to reduce the inflammation. The Cryo Cuff both cools and applies compression to the knee.
The only real downside is the slightly cumbersome cooling tank it comes with, which you have to raise to fill the knee brace with cooled water, and lower again when draining the brace when the water warms up.
I'd recommend if you want to minimise the hassle associated with icing the knee, and want to get the swelling down quickly.
