• Foot Pain on the Bottom of Your Feet?

Foot Pain in the bottom of your feet can be one of the most frustrating things you can ever suffer. What is it? Why are they hurting? Why do I feel like I’m walking on glass when I get out of bed in the morning?

    Foot Pain Causes

Well there’s a number of conditions that could be the culprit, including:

Sprained Foot – Symptoms include pain, swelling, bruising, started after intense or repetitive exercise.

Morton’s Neuroma – Symptoms include sharp, burning or shooting pain near your toes (ball of your foot), feels like a lump or small stone under your foot.

Flat Feet (Fallen Arches) – A sign of this condition can be no gap (arch) under your foot when you stand up, your foot pressing flat on the floor.

Plantar Fasciitis – Symptoms include a sharp pain between your arch and heel, feels worse when you start walking and better when resting, difficulty raising toes off floor.

And these are just the basics, there are countless conditions that can cause pain in the foot, not always originating in the feet area, even. But if you’ve got those pins and needles, it’s most likely going to be Plantar Fasciitis. Not sure? Let’s take a closer look at the conditon.

    Plantar Fasciitis

More often than not the inflammation of the Plantar Fascia occurs at the point where it attached the heel bone.

The condition is reasonably common in older people, where the movement in the joints of the foot have become restricted, therefore increasing the strain on the Plantar Fascia.

It may occur in people who do a lot of standing, walking or sporting activities as well, usually as a result of overuse.

Fasciitis also tends to be more common in females and in people who are generally overweight.

The condtion produces foot pain over the inside of the heel and usually this will radiate down the inside of the sole of the foot. Activity can be a cause or trigger of this pain and it is also typically present in the morning when taking the first steps of the day.

Luckily, we have some solutions that may be able to help keep that pain at bay, or at least to a manageable level.
