What are Spenco 3/4 Length Orthotic Arch Supports?
How do they work?
Spenco Orthotic Arch Supports can be extremely effective in the treatment of heel pain, shin pain and knee pain. They are often used in the treatment of running injuries such as IlioTibial Band friction Syndrome, Shin Plints and Plantar Fasciitis.
These arch support insoles are specifically designed to help control the position of the feet. After heating them in hot water they can be shaped to help stabilise and balance the foot and to provide extra comfort and support to the arch of the foot. A unique cushioning system increases shock absorption, reduces friction and improves overall foot comfort.
Spenco Orthotic Arch Supports can be very helpful in cases of Shin Splints and shin pain. The amount of stress being placed on the shins can be minimised by correcting problems such as flat feet and fallen arches with orthotics. Spenco Orthotic Arch Supports are ideal because they provide long lasting support to the arch of the foot.
Similarly, increased pronation of the foot (uncontrolled lowering of the arch) can lead to increased tension in the IlioTibial Band when running. Spenco Orthotic Arch Supports are used in the treatment and prevention of IlioTibial Band Friction Syndrome because they help to control over pronation.
