What are Spenco 3/4 Length Arch Cushions?
3/4 length insoles with soft cushions for the arch of the foot, suitable for 'hard to fit' shoes. They provide less support than Spenco Orthotic Arch Supports.
When can I use them?
- For the treatment and prevention of heel pain, shin pain and knee pain.
- 3/4 length is more suitable for 'hard to fit' shoes where a full insole would make wearing the shoe uncomfortable.
Which size do I need?
Sizes correspond to shoe sizes as follows:
- XX-Small (UK 2-3)
- X-Small (UK 4-5)
- Small (UK 5-6)
- Medium(UK 7-8)
- Large(UK 9-10)
- X-Large(UK 11-12)
- XX-Large(UK 13-14)
How do they work?
These replacement 3/4 length arch supports are made from the same cushioning material as Spenco Standard Insoles, but have a soft arch cushion for extra comfort and support for the arch of the foot.
Increased pronation of the foot (uncontrolled lowering of the arch) is a cause of running injuries, such as IlioTibial Band Friction Syndrome, Shin Splints and Plantar Fasciitis. Over pronation due to fallen arches or flat feet can lead to increased tension and pain in the IlioTibial Band when running. By controlling pronation Spenco 3/4 Length Arch Cushions can help to prevent these conditions.
