What are Sorbothane Double Strike Insoles?
Sorbothane® Double Strike Insoles are shock absorbing insoles that provide extra cushioning and shock absorption to the heel and forefoot. Simply replace your existing insoles to reduce stress during impact, for the prevention and relief of running related injuries.
When can I use them?
For the prevention and relief of Shin Splints, Patella Tendonitis (Jumpers Knee), Arthritis, foot pain and Runners Knee.

Sorbothane's® sizing is based on UK men's shoe size.
How do they work?
Sorbothane® is a unique synthetic material that mimics the characteristics of human tissue. Its molecular structure allows it to recover its shape completely after each 'shock' and, used as an insole in footwear, it absorbs 94.7% of the shock waves caused by the heel and forefoot striking a hard surface. This means it reduces muscle fatigue, helps protect weak joints and eases the strains on ligaments and tendons.

“Great for my weak feet!”

These have been a foot saver! After plantar fasciitis and tibialis posterior tendonitis my physio tried me in orthotics but my hips rebelled. I just couldn't wear them. But as the Double Strike are not rigid, the physio fitted a small wedge to them and the solved my problems brilliantly! I am now ordering more pairs for everyday trainers.

Bought these in a size 9 to go in my Size 9 football boots but didn't fit too well so had to trim a bit off the front! The heel pad seems a bit too thick, after taking the normal insole out and putting the Sorbothane Double Strike soles in i found that the shoe didn't quite fit properly!
Nevertheless, have given them a couple of games to settle in, it does help my achilies tendonitis problem, not as sore as previously, probably needs a bit more game time to sort out properly!
I would suggest buying half a size smaller to get them to fit in your boots!
