How it Works

The Rocker Board is an essential tool in the rehabilitation of a sprained ankle and following ankle surgery. Ankle joint range of movement is often limited following a sprained ankle or ankle surgery. The Rocker Board can help increase the range of movement by gently mobilising the ankle forward and back or from side to side. So long as this is done in a controlled manner it enhances healing by re-aligning the scar tissue, which makes it stronger.

Daily practice of ankle movements is the key to the successful development of balance and proprioception, and the simplicity of using the Rocker Board makes this easy achievable.

When to use it

Following a sprained ankle and ankle surgery, as well as following knee surgery and knee injury.
