A lightweight thumb support with firm outer shell and soft terry lining for thumb immobilisation following injury.
For protection of thumb arthritis and thumb tendonitis.
Small/Medium fits most women and smaller men.
Large/X-Large fits most men and larger women.
The hard plastic shell completely immobilises and supports the thumb. This relieves thumb pain by taking the strain off the ligaments and tendons of the thumb and wrist.
The perforated shell means that the ProCare ThumbSPICA™ is strong whilst being lightweight and well ventilated. The soft terry lining improves comfort and the whole support is held in place with two Velcro straps.

I have had a torn tendon in my thumb for weeks now and was finding the support prescribed by my doctor very hot and uncomfortable to wear. The ProCare ThumbSPICA arrived today and I can already feel the benefit - I have much more use of my hand and it is cooler because it doesn't enclose the wrist. The straps are nice and soft, as is the lining of the outer shell. I shall wear this much more and hopefully my thumb will heal more quickly as a result. The service was excellent - I ordered the support yesterday afternoon and it arrived in under 24 hours. Highly recommended.

I've had a sprained thumb and wrist for 16 weeks, which had been feeling worse the last week and a bit so I decided to order this. I ordered this in the afternoon for Royal Mail delivery and it arrived the next day! Excellent service from Physioroom!
My thumb was imobilised and felt comfortable as soon as I put it on correctly, although it did take a couple of attempts to put on correctly. It provided protection whilst sleeping and after 1 night, I have far less soreness in my wrist and thumb. The instructions say not to do it up so tight that you restrict circulation but I still need to do it up fairly tight for the right support.
I did have to push the material out of the hole cut outs and I would have exected this to already have been done in production. I also found the straps to be very long for my wasted away wrist and forearm so I trimmed the ends to ensure I didn't have long flappy strap ends.
Overall, it's a decent product and I'm glad to have it.

I ordered this yesterday afternoon for next day delivery and it arrived by 8am! Thank you Physioroom! I actually sighed with relief as soon as I put it on. I have a partially dislocated thumb and was advised to completely immobilise it until the NHS get to me (in however many weeks), and this absolutely does the trick. It is comfortable, leaves my fingers and palm free (so I can type this) but the thumb and wrist are solid and supported. Brilliant. I also like the way it only covers one side of my hand/wrist so hopefully it won't get so sweaty and hot. Great product.

I was looking for a lightweight thumb support as I have arthritis, as I need to wear it for work sometimes I wanted something that was unobtrusive. I ordered it Wednesday evening and it arrived the next which was brilliant.

Firstly the customer service was excellent, ordered delivery via royal mail and product was received next day. Easy to order and delivery was as prompt as described. Would definitely recommend and would use again.
Now the product. It is very light weight, easy to wear and supports (or in my case immobilises) the thumb extremely well. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is that I have nothing to physically compare it to.
It is fairly unobtrusive, in that it does not cover the entire hand and leaves the fingers with free movement. The straps are held by velco and wrap round the hand easily and snuggly.
The only downside is that the outer straping can bubble fairly easily as it can get caught on any other velcro you come in contact with, but that is a very small negative in my opinion as the positives with this product outweigh for me the single negative.
