What is the PhysioRoom.com Reusable Hot / Cold Gel Pack (regular)?
A versatile, mouldable gel pack that can be used as a therapeutic cold pack or hot pack for all injuries.
When can I use it?
This great value product is useful at all stages during the recovery from injury, and can be used again and again.
Use it as an ice pack during the early stages following injury to help minimise pain, bleeding and swelling in the tissues.
Use it as a heat pack later to help the healing process by increasing local blood flow and promote relaxation.
Size
The hot/cold pack measures approximately 12cm x 25cm (5" x 10").
How does it work?
The soft gel in the pack conducts heat or cold. Simply cool in a refrigerator or freezer and it will stay cold, or warm in hot water (or microwave oven) in order to use it as a hot pack. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions.

I bought 1 to see if it was any good and soon bought another 6. I keep 2 in the fridge all the time and find this keeps them cold enough and a bit more flexible than if kept in the freezer. They're also very good from the microwave.

What can i say, it's perfect! its soft gel filling allows you to mould it perfectly around the affected area easier and more comfortably than ice, it also conducts the cold or heat brilliantly and can get very cold for a cold compress, in only an hour in the freezer this works better as a cold compress than actual ice, as ice doesn't conduct enough of the cold through the whole bag. So for whatever you need, be it a hot or cold compress and maybe even a soothing cold sack of gel for a hot day! This product is PERFECT.

This product does exactly what you would want from it - if you leave it in the freezer - it's gonna get COLD!
Better than an ice pack as I've found some ice packs to be too thick to let the real cold get through.
I haven't tried it hot yet, but I'm sure it will work wonderfully.
