Night splint for prolonged stretch of the Plantar Fascia for the treatment of Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendonitis.
Wear at night for effective treatment of Plantar Fasciitis - particularly helpful to reduce the pain of the first steps after getting out of bed.
Measure length of foot.
The PhysioRoom.com Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint is designed to promote healing following ankle surgery, and to alleviate the symptoms of Achilles Tendonitis and Plantar Fasciitis. A combination of a lightweight polypropylene frame, cushion foam padding and 3 padded straps holds the foot comfortably in a controlled angle of dorsiflexion. When this stretch is sustained for a prolonged period (e.g. overnight) the Plantar Fascia is held in a better position for healing. Research has shown that night splinting is effective in relieving symptoms in over 80% of cases of Plantar Fasciitis.
The PhysioRoom.com Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint is extremely lightweight, which means it doesn't disturb your sleep.

Unfortunately I needed 2 plantar fasciitis splits and although bulky they are much more comfortable than expected (although they could be a problem for partners in bed!) and after only 3 nights I am already able to get up and walk straight away with little pain. I do have to adjust the straps slightly in the night as they move but as I get used to them this will probably cease; another reviewer who suggested crossing the straps is absolutely right. Well made, easy to wear and do what they say they will. Recommended.

I have worn this for just over a week now and the relief was felt after the first night. Unfortuantely I hurt my foot a few days later but wearing this through the day while resting helped so much. The uncorfortable feeling of wearing this at night is far outweighed by the lack of pain next morning.
Would recommend.

The splint does exactly what is should do - it immobilises your foot in a stretched position so that it heals during rest periods/sleep, in such a way that the healing process will not be undone when the foot is put to use. Unfortunately, I have the condition in both feet, and wearing two of these can be uncomfortable, due to the hard plastic outer surface. It took quite a while for me to have an unbroken night's sleep due to the hard outer surfaces lying against bone/flesh on my legs.

Excellent product don't know what I would have done without it.
Suffered for about 6 weeks before purchasing and after first nights use removed splint and walked almost normally without pain.
Sadly 8 months later the condition has returned with a vengeance so I'm back in the splint.

I have used this product for niggling achilles problems, and it has made a huge difference to the speed of recovery after exertion in a match. I wear it overnight whenever I feel a twinge, and 9 times out of 10 it has gone in the morning. It also resolves the problem of stiff achilles tendons in the morning.

I'm a none practicing podiatrist (NHS) and have been suffering with Plantar Fasciitis for over 6 weeks. Despite doing the standard treatments (exercises) the pain's continued.
My first night with this and I didn't like it, until I realised that I wasn't fastening it properly (worth a mention as the instructions aren't that indepth). The lower 2 straps are most comfortable when "crossed" over like a safety belt. Anyway, since then I've found it comfortable and the initial pain on standing after sleeping has subsided significantly.
I've done a lot of research to find a solution and this method seems the best option for helping the condition and at the best value I've found online.

My Achilles tendon was so painful that it disturbed my sleep and I struggled to put my foot to the floor in the mornings. I bought the Night Splint out of desperation because I couldn't take much more and my physio appointment seemed too far away to bare. I thought "I'll get it and if it doesn't work I've not lost anymore than the cost of a physio appointment". BEST DECISION I EVER MADE. I couldn't believe how much better my ankle and foot felt on the morning after I first used the night splint compared to when I didn't. I honestly could not do without mine now. It makes all the difference and I am back to doing my full training properly rather than going easy just in case. I still haven't had my physio appointment but I'm coping very well with my achilies now that I have the night splint. Obviously I wouldn't use it instead of a physio but in the meantime and to compliment their work this is a perfect product.

I do train a lot and soon be running my second marathon this year. I’d recommend this product to everyone with small to medium discomfort. I have been using splint for past 4 weeks overnight and feel huge improvement in reducing the pain of PF. I was sceptical at first that something this simple would work, but thought I’ll give it a go as at most I’d badly invest £30. It does not cure PF but I definitely have much less pain getting out of bed. Is easy to get use to and quiet comfortable, although I find the straps bit too long and therefore my foot sometimes gets loose within the bracket. I will be using it continuously until PF is gone and in the future. Nevertheless I do also use other methods to reduce PF like calf stretch, massage, ice and painkillers, so my improvement might also be down to combination of all these…..

It fixed the problem I had with plantar facia soreness after 5 nights usage. Plantar is less sore so I expect to use it again but less regularly. I found it uncomfortable at first as the weight of the splint pulls on your foot but you get used to it. Getting my foot at 90deg means the straps need to be overly tight which restricts vessels so the straps are loose hence my foot slips.

somewhat sceptical at start.
but willing to try as needed to fix problem
had it many years back but an injection sorted it out
not this time though
hence the splint
but it helped sort it
