How does it work?
This support fastens comfortably around the left shoulder with the Velcro straps to provide support and re-assurance following a dislocated shoulder or injuries to the Acromio-Clavicular joint (shoulder separation).
The warmth provided by the neoprene support can be very therapeutic for those people who have Frozen Shoulder, shoulder bursitis or 'Impingement Syndrome'. The compression and warmth can also provide pain relief following shoulder surgery, or following a broken Collar bone.

“great support[slight chaffing under arm]”

very happy with this support, with damage to deep muscle around shoulder blade this support covers where needed ☺ , just be aware that it tends to rub under arm pit which is kinda annoying if getting back into sports.

I bought this Support following a repeat shoulder dislocation and started to use it as soon as the pain had reduced, about a week. It fits well and firmly without causing numbness or reducing circulation. I wear it whenever I am doing something that might cause me to raise my arm higher than chest level when I'm concentrating on something else. It certainly helps in that kind of awareness and it also makes the shoulder feel more secure and comfortable, yet allowing sufficient movement to prevent things seizing up ! It also insulates against heat loss and thus should accelerate healing. I find it to have been a worthwhile purchase at a reasonable price and I can recommend it for helping to get through the early stages of the injury and helping to prevent re-dislocation later by maintaning awareness and providing some support.

I had a grade 2 tear in my acromioclavicular ligament in my shoulder and since the injury did not require surgery, the shoulder support gave me the best form of rehab, allowing me to move my shoulder with more confidence and even made me want to go back to training much sooner than expected!

I have some damage to the nerves which serve my shoulder muscles (hopefully only temporary) resulting in a very weak shoulder with limited movement and constant pain/aching deep within my shoulder.
