I suffer from sciatica and have been using a foam wedge for years which has helped for sitting for long periods of time at a desk and has helped to increase my core stability. I decided to give one of these a go but not having a great amount of padding on my buttocks I found the surface hard and sitting on it for any length of time and actually gave me numb buttocks! I have tried it at various different degrees of inflation too. It is however great to use as a prop in yoga and tilts your pelvis forward brilliantly when sitting in easy lotus and doing forward bends and for seated pranayama and meditiation. It is also great for practicing balance poses on!
