A larger version of the Lowback Support. Designed for use by people with broader backs to support the lower back and relieving low back pain at home or in the office.
How it Works
The spine comprises of forward and backward curves which make us more efficient at carrying loads. There is a forward curve at the lower back which is known as the 'lumbar lordosis'. Often in people with lower back pain, the lumbar lordosis is lost and a slouched posture with a backward curve is common when sitting.
The Obusforme Wideback Support has a bio-mechanically moulded internal polycarbonate frame that is both firm and flexible, promoting improved posture and providing support and comfort. The extra support facilitates an improved sitting posture by restoring the lumbar lordosis, which can reduce the symptoms of low back pain.
When to use it
Designed for broader backs and those with larger frames. It is generally recommended for males wearing jacket size 44+ or females wearing dress size 18+.
