How it Works

The spine comprises of forward and backward curves which make us more efficient at carrying loads. There is a forward curve at the lower back which is known as the 'lumbar lordosis'. Often in people with lower back pain the lumbar lordosis is lost and a slouched posture with a backward curve is common when sitting.

The Obusforme CustomAir Support has a bio-mechanically moulded internal polycarbonate frame that is both firm and flexible, together with an internal air adjust lumbar pad in an optimum position to provide additional lumbar support at the touch of a button.

The simple to operate inflation and deflation valves are neatly built into the CustomAir Support. The 'air pump' and release buttons allow you to easily control the amount of support needed for optimal comfort and relief.

The extra support facilitates an improved sitting posture by restoring the lumbar lordosis, which can reduce the symptoms of low back pain. An elastic strap allows you to secure the Obusforme CustomAir Support to any chair or seat with ease.

When to use it

For use anywhere you sit, at home, at work or in any vehicle, in order to relieve or prevent low back pain. Includes an elastic strap to secure it to your seat or chair. Can be combined with The Seat for total sitting comfort.
