Mueller Reusable Cold/Hot Therapy Wrap (Small)
Description
Durable fabric wrap with adjustable flaps, used to secure ice packs and heat packs in place. Comes with two small reusable Cold/Hot packs. This economical product can be used again and again.
How it Works
Ice therapy and therapeutic heat are usually more effective if they are sustained over a period of time. The Mueller Reusable Cold/Hot Therapy Wrap allows ice packs and heat packs to be held in the desired position with a comfortable amount of compression.
Ice packs and heat packs can be held secure with no effort on the part of the user, making therapy much more effective.
The wrap comes complete with two 12cm x 15cm (4.75" x 6") reusable Hot/Cold packs. The soft gel in the pack conducts heat or cold. Simply cool in a refrigerator or freezer and it will stay cold, or warm in hot water in order to use it as a hot pack. Always follow the manufacturers instructions.
When to use it
Injuries are characterised by an inflammatory reaction during the first 48 - 72 hours following injury, where ice packs are the treatment of choice. Following this acute phase, hot packs can help the healing process by relieving pain and increasing local blood flow.
Common Conditions
All injuries from bumps and bruises to sprains and strains. The large size is ideal for larger contusions anywhere on the body; and injuries to bigger joints, such as the shoulder, thigh, back and calf.
