What is the Mueller Pro Style ATF Ankle Brace?
Provides extra support for the Anterior (outerside) TaloFibular (ATF) ankle ligament - this high strength canvas lace up ankle brace is great for sprained ankle prevention.
When can I use it?
- For extra protection to the Anterior TaloFibular (ATF) ankle ligament.
- To provide support to weak ankles and to prevent turning in on the ankle.
Which size do I need?
Fits either foot. Based on UK shoe size:
- X-Small mens 5-6 (ladies 5.5-6.5)
- Small mens 6-8 (ladies 6.5-8.5)
- Medium mens 8-10 (ladies 8.5-10.5)
- Large mens 10-12 (ladies 10.5-12.5)
- X-Large mens 12-14 (ladies 12.5-14.5)
How does it work?
This lace up brace can be tightened to an individual's needs. Each side of the brace is reinforced by light weight flexible steel springs to help to support ankle ligaments and provide physical restraint which greatly reduces the possibility of rolling the ankle.
The 'Inner ATF strap' provides extra support for the Anterior TaloFibular (ATF) ligament - the ligament on the outside of the ankle which is most commonly injured during 'inversion' sprains where the ankle rolls in.
