I've just received my belt and like one of the other reviewers I was very unclear on how it should be worn. Just some typed instructions in with the belt would be handy, especially as using the label as a guide as to which way up is incorrect, as it's upside down.

It feels supportive and I am hopeful it will make a bit difference, I have noticed myself sitting taller.

I bought this support as I am suffering from a lot of pelvic pain in pregnancy, however have had bad pelvic and lower back problems for years anyway. This arrived about an hour ago and I put it on immediately. As I sit here now and type, this is the first time in as long as I can remember that sitting is not causing the pain I ALWAYS feel in my lower back when sitting, even on my big bouncy ball. I can't wait to see if I can manage to sit all the way through dinner without getting impatient to leave the dining table for the armchair as usual, I have very high hopes.
I must say, I don't find any particular use from putting the strap going over my bump (and I am now 31 weeks pregnant so it's fairly big) but there are two of these straps and instead I have them crossed over as extra support under the bump which seems to be working well and making it even more supportive.
Thank you for this product which you sent very quickly and which is already making a real and discernable difference to my quality of life. I'm very pleased, and grateful too.

“A good, comfy and supportive belt”

I have just put the belt on and my back feels better already. It is comfy and there is no velcro scratching my tummy. I like the fact it is adjustable so as the bump grows, I can still wear it. I really do feel a lot better and the nagging ache in my sacros has gone after 20 mins of wearing it. It is neat and tidy to wear under clothes and so far fine against bare skin.

My only quibbles are that:- it arrived with no instructions whatsoever. I had to go back to the PhysioRoom site to look at the picture. The strap that goes over your bump does very little - not sure why they have included it. The belt arrived with 2 of these straps and neither seem particularly useful in terms of support. I'd love to know why I have two! If you have a small bump, they just slip down. Lastly, it would be nice if this belt was made from (some) COTTON and not just synthetic material.

Hi,

The main part of the belt sits under them bump, the additional strap, provides extra support and comfort, it helps take the strain away from the back. In the beginning of pregnancy you may find the extra strap a bit unnecessary, (it can be removed) but as bump gets bigger when you are about 32 weeks plus, this actually helps, it keeps the main part of the belt in place.
