Best girdle for the gridiron! No need for slotting pads in game pants. Doesn't restrict movement when running and doesn't shift.

I'm a keeper who's currently working my way back from a groin and hernia injury that's kept me out for the last 6 months. I bought these shorts on the basis that they were compression shorts (and would help support and keep warm both the groin and hernia areas as I get back to playing), but also offered the added bonus of padding to offer some added protection.
I've not yet had a chance to play in these yet, but on first impression I am disapointed that the main material is very thin (like a heat gear style top). I'd hoped that it would be a thicker material (either like the cold gear equipment or the neoprene compression shorts). I do think to describe these as compression shorts is a bit misleading, but I'm sure they'll still be of use.
In summary, if you want something that just offers added protection as you're throwing yourself about, this is probably not a bad purchase. If you want them as a compression short, there are much better alternatives available.

Ordered this at night and it came the next day when i didn't even pay for next day delievery!!! Great for basketball, i've been taking charges like mad in games. Been getting hits by people and aren't hurting at all. No sweat on the shorts at all. This is a must buy product!!!
