What is the McDavid Hinged Knee Support?

Designed for the rehabilitation of ACL and other severe knee ligament injuries, the McDavid Hinged Knee Support is also suitable for protecting your knee during skiing and snowboarding.
This brace has metal hinges and adjustable stops for either complete immobilisation, or to limit the knee joint to 3 different ranges of knee bend.

When can I use it?

• Outstanding knee protection for skiing and snowboarding.
• Improves the stability of the knee following partial or complete tears, or surgery to all knee ligaments.
• Ideal for use following a meniscus (Cartilage) injury.

What size is it?

Fits left or right knee.
Measure round the knee:

• Small 30-35cm (11¾"-13¾")
• Medium 35-38cm (13¾"-15")
• Large 38-43cm (15"-17")
• X-Large 43-50cm (17"-19¾")
• XX-Large 50-56cm (19¾"-22")

How does it work?

The hinged design, combined with adjustable Velcro straps and four elastic crossing straps make the McDavid Hinged Knee Support ideal for rehabilitation following severe knee ligament injury and return to sports, especially skiing and snowboarding.
The knee brace includes a lock-out option for complete immobilisation and 4-way adjustable extension stops at 0°, 15°, 30° and 45° to limit the range of knee flexion. This is particularly beneficial for injuries that can be aggravated during knee extension movements.
