How does it work?
Glycogen synthesis (rebuilding of muscle energy stores) takes place in the two hours immediately following intense exercise. This means that the best time to replenish carbohydrate levels is immediately after your activity.
Maxim Recovery Drink contains 56% carbohydrates and 34% protein. You can choose to mix Maxim Recovery Drink with water or skimmed milk. Recovery Drink mixed with milk provides you with an extra 10 g protein and 12 g carbohydrates.
Ingredients
Milk protein, dextrose, maltodextrin, whey powder, flavouring, colouring (beetroot), sweetener (aspartame), thiamin (vitamin B1). With sugars and sweetener, contains a source of phenylalanine.
