Gymnic FIT BALL Support (for 65cm & 75cm balls)
What is it?
Non-slide support for a 65cm Swiss Ball and 75cm Swiss ball. Can be used to keep the ball still for storage, or to allow the Swiss Ball to be used safely as a 'seat', or for beginners to make core strength exercises a little easier.
How does it work?
The FitBall Support is a non slip ring where the FitBall sits. This provides perfect safety for your 'sitting ball'. The ball does not touch the floor and the support does not slide even on slippery floor. The Swiss Ball simply sits in the FitBall Support.
The Swiss Ball is an integral tool in most Core Strength training programs. These programmes are designed to strengthen the core muscles of the trunk and pelvis, which are important for posture and sporting activities. For beginners it may be difficult to master these exercises so the FitBall Support can provide a more stable base to work from.
When to use it?
Many elite athletes from English Premier League soccer, the NHL, and the NBA use the Swiss Ball for core strength exercises. Their strength and conditioning coaches realise what a valuable tool the Swiss Ball is, and every Swiss Ball needs a FitBall holder for proper storage.
Swiss Balls can be used for the treatment and prevention of back pain, hamstring muscle injuries, Gilmore's Groin and overuse running injuries such as Runner's Knee, Achilles Tendonitis, Shin Splints and Tibialis Posterior Syndrome.
