What is the Donjoy Walkabout™?
A simple moulded plastic walker that allows early walking on sprained ankles, Tibial stress fractures and stable ankle fractures.
How does it work?
Simply step into the moulded plastic shell and fasten the five Velcro straps for a comfortable and economical solution when an injury prevents normal walking.
The outer plastic shell with rocker sole allows early weight bearing following a sprained ankle, stress fracture or stable ankle fracture. The Donjoy Walkabout™ reduces the stress on the injured tissue and allows normal walking without the development of a limp.
The Donjoy Walkabout™ can be used throughout the injury rehabilitation. By putting this gentle pressure on the injury during walking then the healing process is further accelerated.
When can I use it?
Following a sprained ankle, stress fracture or stable ankle fracture to allow you to start walking normally.
Which size do I need?
Based on UK shoe size.
- Small:
Men's up to 4.5, Ladies' up to 4 - Medium:
Men's 5-9, Ladies' 4.5-8.5 - Large:
Men's 9.5-14, Ladies' 9+
Delivery of Donjoy Walkabout
We hold stock of all products at our Warehouse facility in Lancashire, UK (except for items indicated as direct from manufacturer). Orders placed by 2pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) are dispatched the same day.
