What is the Donjoy UltraSling III ER?

The ultimate sling that holds the shoulder and arm in an externally rotated position and provides immobilisation, following shoulder injury or shoulder surgery.

When can I use it?

To aid recovery and rehabilitation of the shoulder following:

• Rotator cuff injury or surgery
• Capsular shifts
• Bankhart procedures
• Glenohumeral dislocation
• Shoulder subluxation
• Soft tissue strains or surgery

What size is it?

State left or right shoulder.
State 15° or 30° version.

Measure from the elbow crease to the base of index finger.

• Small: up to 11" (28cm)
• Medium: 11"-13" (28cm-33cm)
• Large: above 13" (>33cm)

How does it work?

A combination of straps, integral wedges and a foam pillow holds the shoulder and arm in an externally rotated position - at 15° or 30°, depending on the patient's needs.
Comfortable to wear and with quick-release buckles making it easy to put on and remove, the shoulder sling features a derotational shoulder strap to hold it firmly in place. Additional 15 degree wedges are available to increase external rotation, if this is necessary.
