How does it work?

The Donjoy BOA Duel TLSO (Thoraco-Lumbo-Sacral Orthosis) Back Brace has rigid front and back panels with an adjustable chest pad. It's fully adjustable for a custom fit and features quick release shoulder buckles with pull handles for easy taking on and taking off. Once applied, the Donjoy BOA Duel TLSO maintains an upright (hyper-extension) posture and prevents twisting and forward bending of the back.

Research has demonstrated that twisting and forward bending place most stress on the lower back and that hyper-extension (upright posture) places least stress on the back. By reducing stress and providing support the Donjoy BOA Duel TLSO back brace can relieve back pain and encourage a recovery from low back problems such as Sciatica, Herniated Disc, Degenerative Disc Disease, Facet Syndrome and posture related back pain.
