What is the ExtraComfort Coccyx Chair Cushion?

High quality wedge shaped, high density foam chair cushion with 'cut out' section at the Coccyx (tail bone) region. The Coccyx Cushion is used to relieve pressure on the Coccyx (tail bone) when sitting. The wedge shape also improves general sitting posture, making it ideal for relieving back pain.

When can I use it?

The Coccyx Cushion is ideal for prolonged use as a chair cushion in the office, as a car seat cushion or at home. Not only does it relieve pressure on the Coccyx (tail bone), but it improves sitting posture by raising the hips in relation to the knees. How does it Work?

The Coccyx Cushion is wedge shaped with the highest point of the wedge being 7cm high. As well as allowing the 'cut out' to suspend the tail bone region from your seat when sitting, the wedge shape raises the hip joints in relation to the knees, which tilts the Pelvis forwards and improves lower back posture when sitting. This can help to prevent and relieve low back pain when sitting for prolonged periods.

The Coccyx Cushion has a removable, machine washable 100% cotton drill cover. It is Hypo-Allergenic and dust mite resistant. It is fire retardant and complies fully with BS5852 Fire Safety Regulations.
