What is the Cho-Pat Knee Strap?
The original patented knee strap. Use for painful overuse conditions such as Jumper's Knee (Patella Tendonitis) and Osgood Schlatter's Disease. Its comfortable, lightweight design provides compression and support to the Patella Tendon, just below the kneecap.
How does it work?
This easy to use knee strap is adjusted with Velcro to apply pressure to the Patella Tendon. By reducing the girth (width) of the Patella Tendon, the pressure applied by the brace prevents maximum force being transmitted through the tendon. This reduces the strain on the Patella Tendon and helps to alleviate symptoms of Patella Tendonitis (Jumpers Knee) and Osgood Schlatter's Disease.
When can I use it?
- For the relief of symptoms of mild to moderate Patella Tendonitis (Jumpers Knee).
- For the relief of Osgood Schlatter's Disease.
- For use in all sports, not just jumping activities.
Which size do I need?
Can be used on either knee.
Measure around the knee, just below the knee cap. If measurements indicate two different sizes, then choose the larger size.
- X-Small 20-25cm (8-10")
- Small 25-33cm (10-13")
- Medium 33-38cm (13-15")
- Large 38-43cm (15-17")
- X-Large 43-48cm (17-19")
