What is the Bauerfeind Valguloc Stabilising Orthosis?

A stabilising splint for the correction of hallux valgus or bunion.

When can I use it?

• Wear over a bunion to relieve pressure and foot pain.
• After an operation to treat a bunion.

NB: Anyone with Diabetes should consult their doctor or podiatrist before using this product.

Which size do I need?

According to shoe size:

• Small: 2-3½ UK; 34-36 European
• Medium: 4-7 UK; 37-40 European
• Large: 7½-11 UK; 41-46 European

When ordering, choose Left or Right foot

How does it work?

Anatomically contoured and with a simple construction, the Valguloc Stabilising Orthosis is easy to use by patients. The gradual application of small forces by the splint gradually brings the big toe into correct axial alignment.
The Valguloc corrects hallux valgus according to the 3-point principle and stretches shortened parts of the capsule and soft tissue.

Please note - Valguloc orthosis is to be worn without shoes and is not suitable for walking.
