How does it work?

Using two interconnected AirCells located under the foot arch and in back of the heel, the AirHeel applies pulsating compression with every step to help reduce swelling and discomfort, and enhance circulation. This provides pain relief for heel pain and Plantar Fasciitis.

I found the aircast airheel great around the house worn with slippers but a do still feel pain when walking the streets with shoes on. Still less pain than before.

“easy to use and delivers rapid pain relief”

It's lightweight, easy to apply and allows normal shoe use allowing my ankle and foot to settle down to a comfortable near normal walk over a couple of weeks. I have to admit I was skeptical when it arrived but now would recommend to anyone suffering instep and foot/ankle pain.

So I took my sock off and struggled and pulled it into position walked around a bit barefoot to stretch it , then put on the thinnest sock I could find . [ I am a self employed Gardener and wear thick socks and boots all the time } it worked materiel stretched enough after a couple of days able to revert to my thicker socks ,have worn the AIRHEEL every day for the past six weeks it has helped a great deal, I also bought the night sock at the same time that's easy to put on.I still suffer from plantar fascilitis or the old name for it is policemen's foot,,it was going worse and was not looking forward to the grass cutting season,,but since buying these items its slightly improved I am a man I do not like pain, found castly at the time but what price do you put on improvement would defiantly recommend the items

“Helped me to keep active!”

Reviewed by derekg

I have over the last 6 months had a very painful heel which has curtailed by walking and playing badminton. I have changed walking trainers, added insoles and used a gel heel to try and help. Using the Airheel alongside these has helped keep it manageable. It is comfortable enough that I do not notice I have it on so have been using it for nearly two months now. Whether its just the airheel, or a combination of the other items as well, I am happy things have improved so will continue wearing it for the forseeable future.

“massive improvement”

Really helped with my foot pain. I am on my feet all day working outside and when the pain started I could barely put any weight on my feet. Alongside other treatment I used this product and the improvement was amazing and ongoing. I found wearing a pop sock underneath was more comfortable.

“No pain for last 3 weeks”

Reviewed by Anonymous

Using the Aircast I have spent the last 3 weeks renovating my daughter's house, on my feet for long days with no pain. Left it off for 1 day and the pain returned. Won't be without it again. Not a cure but I can carry on normally using the Aircast.

“Relief of 90% of my foot pain”

Reviewed by Harbourcoat

This product has given me relief from a very painful condition! Great product and quite simple to use. I would give it 5 stars if it would solve the pain completely but I guess that would be wishful thinking. Still thank you aircast and thank you PhysioRoom on such a great speedy delivery!

“Aircast Plantair Fasciitis Airheel - very disappointing!”

Reviewed by Anonymous

Unfortunately being a size 7 (ladies) I seems to fall between the two available sizes. I can see that this product might be beneficial if ony it fitted correctly. I tried both the small and the medium but one was far too tight and the other too loose. Vey disappointing considering the glowing reviews

“Too expensive”

Reviewed by Anonymous

Its a shame that this price is for only one. far too expensive for people like me who need two.

“brilliant”

I too was sceptical about this when I saw it but it has relieved the pain considerably, a GP recomended a soft spot heel cushion but that did nothing! nor did insoles, I live in this now and its fantastic.thank you

“Relieves the symptoms of this painful condition.”

Reviewed by Axeman

I can only reiterate the other reviewer's comments re.this support. I bought it to help with my achilles tendonitis as this chronic condition literally affects every painful step you take let alone severely restricts any weight bearing sporting activities. RICE therapy does help pre. and post activity but this support does help during any form of exercise, and indeed seems to have a lasting theurapeutic affect even when you have taken it off and rested. Within a week of buying and wearing this, my achilles tendonitis has improved my mobility and reduced the nagging pain associated with this condition that I have too much experience of. At £45 it is not cheap, but it is easy to put on, stays there, is comfortable and does the job. Its long term durability remains to be tested but I have every confidence in it. This support does not disappoint.

“Walking on Air”

Reviewed by Anonymous

When I first received my Aircast Airheel I was sceptical about how effective it was likely to be. The first few steps I took after strapping it on dispelled any qualms I had. After months of extremely painful and very limited 'walking' with my plantar fasciitis I could not believe how such a simple looking device could be so effective. However, I have literally climbed mountains this summer - something I had almost given up hope of ever doing again.

Plantar fasciitis is a miserable complaint which seriously threatened my way of life. I am so grateful for my airheels. They have - literally - given me back my life. Not only have they relieved the pain when being worn but they seem to be curing the condition as well. (I ordered a second one to wear on my good foot because I felt unbalanced wearing just one.)

My only criticism is that the fit around the ankle is not particularly neat. However, this may be due to the fact that although my feet are long - requiring a medium size - they are very slender. I can live with that.
