What is the Resistance Exercise Band Box?
The Resistance Exercise Band box features a latex band measuring 5.5m x 15cm, which can be cut accordingly to suit your preference. Latex Bands provide light, medium to heavy resistance during training exercises and are designed for increasing strengthening exercises during rehab and sports training. 99.99% free from latex allergens.

How it Works
Latex Bands by PhysioRoom.com are made from a high grade medical rubber, 99.998% free from latex allergens. They provide a graded amount of resistance to movement depending on their elasticity. To use - simply fix them to a secure object such as wall bars, and they will provide an excellent method of resistance training for the strengthening of specific muscles and tendons.
Start with the lowest level of resistance and build sets and repetitions gradually. Then once the exercises become too easy, move on to the next level of resistance provided by the next Latex Band.
As an added extra incentive these resistance bands are chocolate scented.

I needed my latest purchase of varied resistance bands as I was doing a demonstration of their uses to a group of ladies all of whom suffer from arthritis - knees, hips, shoulders. As I have had two hip replacements I knew how good the bands were to aid recovery. After knee and hip surgery your entire leg feels so much heavier, due to muscles being cut into, and I found a band helped me lift my leg in and out of bed without asking for help. By doing leg exercises with the bands I made a rapid recovery and did not require sticks after just two weeks. Three weeks after surgery I was also taking my Keep Fit classes so I have personal experience of the value of resistance bands. The ladies were all so impressed with the type of exercises possible with the bands so I left them with a selection of bands for their own use. I find it amazing that hospitals do not sell these bands to their knee and hip surgery patients. Must be to do with Health and Safety regulations but it is sad as I know how valuable a resistance band is in aiding rapid recovery from surgery.
