What are the 1000 Mile Support Socks?
The support socks provide firm support and targeted compression for stiff, weak or sore ankles. It assists in the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of ankle and rear foot injuries such as sprains, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis etc. The inclusion of Tactel in the fabric provides moisture management for fresh dry feet, whilst a flat seam ensures maximum comfort. The 1000 Mile support socks are available in black or white.

I broke my ankle at 14, and then had a car run over my foot resulting in hair line fractures across the bridge of my foot, whilst I was young no problem, but now I am older I suffer with painful arthritis in both the ankle and foot, as I walk it feels the bones are shifting against each other, and it becomes so painful to walk, I unfortunatly suffer side effects to opiates, so its get on with the pain, until I tried these socks, They are great, I wear them to work, wonderful no pain in walking, they seem to keep my foot together, I tried them on a bad day, I must say I expected nothing to change, how wrong I was. They may be expensive, but being with out pain, they are worth it. I will have to try out the walking socks, if they are as good as these, my life has been turned around.
