Pre-sales & New Business Team Leader

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a rapidly expanding international online retailer in the northwest. Trueshopping ltd currently own 17 websites, with 9 different brands across 10 countries in 6 different languages and are constantly adding to their portfolio. In 2013 we are opening a Pre-Sales Centre to support this growth. We are looking for a dynamic sales team leader who can support this growth.

Role Purpose:

  • To be responsible for increasing sales revenue across multiple brands through outbound, CRM, Knowledge base and Livechat communication.
  • Will be required to communicate with trade customers and third parties to develop, execute and manage new business accounts
  • To promote retention and future selling opportunities of previous clients through periodic communication via email and telephone.
  • Work closely with Sales and Communications Marketing Manager to ensure Sales consultants hit target.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Sales and Communications Marketing Manager to deliver sales and profit targets within the relevant channels.
  • Monitor call rates, conversion, abandonment, revenue generation and consultant targets.
  • Coordinate and administrate induction, training and appraisals of team members
  • Work alongside marketing assistant(s) to distribute email marketing campaigns across all sites for each sales consultant
  • Assist Sales and Marketing Manager to effectively people manage the sales team
  • Execute monthly reports to assess efficacy of call campaigns across all channels.
  • Maximise sales opportunities via Email marketing campaigns, Knowledge base and Livechat
  • Forge good working relationships within the Sales & Marketing team, Product Managers and IT & Development team.
  • Proactive suggestions for business improvements that can be made to help achieve departmental targets.

Business Impact:

  • Delivery of agreed call and sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Increased sales and profit margins through direct contact with new business leads
  • Daily management of call data, analysis and conversion rate of sales team

Authority/Decision Making:

  • Autonomy to make recommendations for Management approval of suggested marketing campaigns to help facilitate achieving individual targets
  • Pre-sales revenue target.
  • Working alongside Sales and Marketing Manager to deliver induction, training and appraisal schemes.

Skills/Experience:

  • Experience of working within an online retail environment would be desirable.
  • At least 2 years outbound Pre-sales/telesales team leader experience.
  • Experience of B2C online retail experience is essential
  • Warm calling in response to Email marketing campaigns
  • An excellent communicator with a good understanding of online business.
  • A self motivated, pro-active individual who is able to work as part of a team.
  • Requires excellent selling skills, and a high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills would be desirable.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel is essential.

Basic Salary is negotiable dependant on experience + Company Profit Share.

  • At least 2 years outbound Pre-sales/telesales experience.
  • B2C online retail experience is essential
  • Experience of warm calling post Email marketing campaigns
  • An excellent communicator with a good understanding of online business.
  • A self motivated, pro-active individual who is able to work as part of a team.
  • Requires excellent selling skills, and a high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills would be desirable.
  • Experience of working with Microsoft office including Word and Excel is essential.

Basic Salary @ £14k (Neg. Based on experience) + Uncapped commission based on results.
